Maegan Cookson is an entrepreneur and culinary professional with over 30 years of experience in the food service industry. She spent a decade cooking professionally and five years as the owner of Boon Bakery, gaining expertise across both front- and back-of-house operations. With a background in team leadership, quality assurance, and sustainable business practices, Maegan brings a thoughtful, systems-driven approach to food entrepreneurship. Today, she leads Boon Bakery, a woman-owned, artisanal gluten- and dairy-free bakery built on a “no compromise” philosophy of excellence and inclusion.

Jennifer has over 30 years of experience as a management consultant focused on operational efficiency and effectiveness. She is the owner of J & J Communication and serves as Executive Director of the REACH Centre Grey Bruce, a local charity providing life skills programming for youth and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Jennifer is a past President of Autism Ontario Grey Bruce and a former Trustee of the Bluewater District School Board, bringing deep leadership experience across business, education, and community service.
